The RAMA Spirit candle removes greater than 99.99% of bacteria, 99% of viruses and greater than 95% of most chemical contaminants such chlorine, while retaining the original mineral content of water. TDS is a measure of the mineral content, such as magnesium, calcium, and sodium, which the RAMA Spirit candle leaves intact.

You should consider replacing the filter candles if you notice any of the following:
• A significant drop in the flow rate
• Any cracks or damage to the candle body (though this is very rare)
• An unusual taste or odor after filtration

In addition to these signs, we also recommend replacing the candles based on their standard lifespan of approximately 20,000  liters or 12 months for a pair of filters, whichever comes first. This helps ensure consistent performance and optimal purification.

Priming is required once before the first use.Simply place the candles under running water using the rubber washer of the filter candle, also explained in the user manual.

If you notice a slower flow over time, you can re-prime the candles to restore optimal performance.

Yes. The candles are compatible with any gravity-based water filter system that uses a 14 mm hole diameter, making them suitable for most standard models across brands.
